Galway, Saratoga County Zella Maureen Allen of Trivet Road passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at Saratoga Hospital with her loving family at her side. She was 61. Born in Gloversville on October 14, 1959, daughter of the late Cola L. and Joan (Bushen) Wilson. She is the wife of Rickie L. Allen. Zella worked in environmental services for Angelica of Ballston Spa. She enjoyed being outdoors, especially camping, fishing and hunting and tending to her beloved farm animals. She loved going for rides and Wells and Speculator were two of her favorite places. Survivors in addition to her husband Rickie Allen of Galway include her children, Scott Allen of Galway, Herbie Allen, Jr. (Wanda) of Stony Creek, Cola (Racheal) Allen of Gloversville, Christopher (Nicole) Allen of Gloversville, Charles, Sr. (Melinda) Allen of Galway, Josh Allen of Galway, Joseph, Sr. (Crystal) Allen of Whitehall, Joan (Earlwin, Jr.) Allen of Hadley and Deanne (Benjamin) Correll of Ballston Spa. Also survived by her siblings, Charles "Chuckie" Wilson, Malcolm (Shari) Wilson, Mike (Chris) Wilson and Deanne (Robert) Deming as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved pets, Teetee and Kit. In addition to her parents Cola L. and Joan Wilson, she is predeceased by her first husband and beloved father of their children, Herbie A. Allen, Sr. and her brother, Terry Wilson. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, staff and dialysis staff at Saratoga Hospital for the exceptional care for Zella and her family. At Zellas request, there will be no services.
