Schaghticoke, Rensselaer County Yolanda A. DeMarco of Pleasant Avenue passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 while visiting her vacation home in Boynton Beach, Florida. She was 81. Born in Lecole, Canada on February 22, 1935, daughter of the late Edmore and Germaine (Lamurex) Senecal. She is the wife of Ignazio Philip DeMarco who she married on October 17, 1955. Yolanda enjoyed gardening and traveling to her vacation home in Florida. She also collected antique glassware and porcelain dolls. Survivors in addition to her husband of 61 years, Philip include her children, Dr. Kristine DeMarco of Fairfield, CT, Kolleen DeMarco of Valley Falls, Kirk DeMarco of Auburn, Kevin (Victoria) DeMarco of Syracuse, her grandchildren, Christopher Chapman-DeMarco, Brandy Potter, Antonia, Jessica, Kimberly, Jennifer and Thomas DeMarco. Also survived by her siblings, Romeo Senecal of Dearborn, MI, Jacque (Bonnie) Senecal of Schaghticoke and Leo Senecal of Auburn. In addition to her parents she is predeceased by her son, Keith DeMarco and her sister Dolores Graves. Relatives and friends may call from 10am-12noon on Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 173 Main Street, Schaghticoke.
