Obituary

Wicks, William G. Sr. William G. Wicks of Brickhouse Road passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at his residence. He was 83. Born in Stillwater on November 2, 1935, son of the late Ralph and Mary V. (Carter) DiNallo. He is the husband of Ann Mary (Bullis) Wicks. A proud veteran of the US Army, serving from 1953 until his honorable discharge in 1959. Bill worked as a crane operator for the Watervliet Arsenal, a bus aid for Stillwater Central School and several years as a volunteer for Arvin Hart FD. He was very active in the American Legion and recently served as Chaplain for the American Legion post 91, Mechanicville and for Saratoga County. Bill was instrumental in conducting the yearly memorial service for the Four Chaplains. Survivors in addition to his wife Ann Wicks of Stillwater include his children, Judith (James) Sweet, William (Kathy) Wicks, Jr., David Wicks, (4) grand children and (1) great grandchild. A service will be conducted at 11:00am on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery with military honors.
