William E. Michel, 76, of Valley Falls passed away peacefully on Friday, February 7, 2025 at home with loving family at his side.

Born on November 29, 1948, son of Evenette (Lewis) and Theodore Michel. He is the husband of Joyce A. (Tarrier) Michel who he married on July 24, 1971.

Bill graduated from Columbia High School and was a life-long dairy farmer. He was active in the Farm Bureau, Rensselaer County Co-Operative Exchange and 4H. He enjoyed showing their Lineback cattle at the Schaghticoke Fair with his friends and family.

Bill's lifelong dream was to own his own dairy farm and that became a reality in 2010 when they purchased Millbrook Dairy Farms, LLC with their son Jeffrey.

Survivors in addition to his beloved wife of 53 years, Joyce, include his son, Jeffrey (Kimberly) Michel, his brother Elwin (Helen), his sister Linda Mulheren and grandsons Kenny, Ryan and Patrick (Emily) and a great grandson Elliot.

At Bill's request there will be no services.
