William E. Lane, Jr. of Route 4 in Stillwater passed away suddenly on May 31, 2011 at his residence. He was 41. Born in Glens Falls on April 30, 1970, son of William E. and Christine L. (Smith) Lane, Sr. Bill was a graduate of Schuylerville High School, class of 1989. He was employed by Price Chopper in Clifton Park for 22 years, he started there at age 18. He enjoyed going for long walks, bicycling, listening to music and above all being with his family. Survivors in addition to his parents include two brothers, Robert and wife Mandy Lane, Sr. of Hudson Falls and Matthew and wife Heather Lane of Stillwater. Also survived by his nieces and nephew, Kayla Morey, Stephanie, Robert Jr., and Evelyn Lane. Relatives and friends may call from 4-7pm on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the Dunn Funeral Homes, 729 Hudson Ave., Stillwater (Formerly 121 North Hudson Ave.) Funeral services will be conducted at 7pm. Burial will be in the family plot in Stillwater Union Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations in Bills memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
