Melrose - Rensselaer County Virginia Melite born June 16, 1934 to Albert and Betty Moeller ended her battle with cancer the evening of April 7th, 2014. Devoted wife to Salvatore Melite, she is survived by her husband and their two sons, Michael and Richard Melite, as well as their two grandsons Anthony and Dominick Melite. Virginia is also survived by her brother Ronald Moeller of St. Petersburg FL, and his two children Karl and Heidi. Virginia graduated from Jefferson High of Jefferson NY. She continued on to earn a business degree from Mildred Ellie college of Albany, NY. She served as registrar at Emma Willard School and retired from there after 40 years of service. The family would like to thank the Community Hospice of Rensselaer County for their assistance in caring for Virginia in their time of need. Relatives and friends may call from 6-8:00pm on Monday, April 14, 2014 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 173 Main Street, Schaghticoke. Memorial service will be conducted at 8pm.
