Schaghticoke, Rensselaer Co Yarter, Victoria Ann Marie Victoria "Vic" Ann Marie Yarter passed away on Friday, November 14, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital in Troy with her loving family at her side. She was 52. Born in Elmira on December 24, 1961, a daughter of the late William F. and Marie (Lilholt) Cook III. She is the beloved wife of David A. Yarter whom she married on July 20, 1991. A graduate of Shenendehowa Central Schools, she was a home maker and also worked as a horse trainer and instructor at Double B Stables in Clifton Park. In addition to her husband David, she is survived by her sons, David A. Yarter and Matthew A. Yarter, both of Schaghticoke, her siblings, Kathy (Bud) Schuck, Will (Julia) Cook, Sandy (John) Valcik, Barb (Floyd) Cook Halwick, Tim (Sandy) Cook, Chris (Amy) Cook, and Cindy (Alex) Simon, her brother in law Bruce (Debbie) Yarter and sister in law JoAnn (Wim) Niles. Also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 4-8pm on Monday, November 17, 2014 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 319 Park Avenue, Mechanicville.
