Alderman, Thomas Richard Schuylerville, Saratoga County Thomas Richard Alderman of Schuyler Heights Drive passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the Saratoga Hospital with his loving family at his side. He was 69. Born in Schenectady on May 15, 1946, a son of the late Louis and Corrine (Baldwin) Alderman. He is the husband of the former Doreen M. Mehok. A proud veteran of the US Army, serving from 1967-1973. He worked as an engineer for the D&H Railroad and retired from the NYS Department of Labor. He was a member of the American Legion Post 490, Stillwater and enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Survivors in addition to his beloved wife Doreen include a daughter, Chelsea Alderman of Abilene, TX and Schuyler Daignault whom he raised as a son, a granddaughter, Addison Grace and his siblings Bonnie Wall, Sandy Haines, Kathy Lawson, Wayne Alderman, Jack Alderman, Pam Stewart, Shaun Alderman and Michele Alderman. Also survived by his mother in law Margaret Mehok and Andrew and Debbie Maciariello, Denise and Tom Kretsos and many cherished nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his twin brother, Theodore Alderman, brother Robert Alderman and father in law Andrew "Lucky" Mehok. Relatives and friends may call from 2-5pm on Sunday, July 26 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 729 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater. Funeral Service will be conducted at 8am on Monday at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow in the Saratoga National Cemetery.
