Stacia A. Gorsky, 86, of Putnam Road, Stillwater, joined her loving husband, Thomas A. Gorsky, Sr. in eternal peace, Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Wesley Health Care Facility, Saratoga. She was surrounded by her loving family. Born December 25, 1923 in Cohoes, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Katherine Piatek Boradgiak. Stacia was a lifelong resident of Stillwater and a communicant of St. Peters Church in Stillwater. She was a homemaker, loving mother, an avid gardener, and ran the Gorsky Dairy Farm in Stillwater with her late husband, Thomas. Stacia was a former employee of Central Market and member of the Dairy Lea Co-Op, Agway Association and the Saratoga Co. Farm Bureau. She is survived by her loving children, Thomas A. Gorsky, Jr. (Kathy Fisher), Kathleen Benson (Austin), Mary Benson (William) all of Stillwater, and Janet Gorsky of Troy. She was the beloved grandmother of Wayne Gorsky (Katie), Sara Lokossou (Christian), Laura Gorsky, Jennifer Willson (Joshua), Karen Briggs (Jeffrey), Tara Byrne (Paul), and Jamie Benson. She is also survived by her three great-grandchildren, Joseph Gorsky, Briana Benson, Benjamin Briggs and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings William Boradgiak, Helen Krasuski, Jean Mrozek, and her grandson, Thomas Benson. Relatives and Friends may call Sunday November 28th from 2-5pm at the Dunn Funeral Homes, Inc. 729 (formerly 121) North Hudson Avenue in Stillwater. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00AM on Monday, November 29th at St. Peters Church with the Reverend David Mickewicz, Pastor officiating. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery, Stillwater.
