Saratoga Springs, Saratoga County Seymour William Hathaway (Bill) passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at his sisters home in Albany. He was 64. Born in Cambridge on September 12, 1956, he was the son of the late Kenneth C. and Ruth E. (Tyrrell) Hathaway, Sr. Bill was a 1975 graduate of Stillwater Central School and worked for many years as an automotive mechanic, including several years working on tractor trailer engines. He loved his family and especially his grandchildren who always made him smile. He enjoyed restoring old cars, riding his motorcycle and watching NASCAR races and car shows on TV. His hobbies included repairing or restoring old cars and drawing, for which he had an incredible talent. Survivors include his daughter, Jessica (Charles) Hathaway; four grandchildren, Shelby, Jonathan, Lucas, and Rilee; five siblings, Kenneth (Diana) Hathaway, Jr., Susan Rousselle, Kathy Martel, Lorraine (Kim) Hathaway, Richard (Laurie) Hathaway; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Thomas Hathaway and Richard Bleau, and his brother-in-law Jerry Rousselle. A graveside service will be conducted at Stillwater Union Cemetery later this year at the convenience of his family.
