Sandy Clark Greinert of Pleasant Avenue passed away suddenly on Monday, July 22, 2013. He was 61.
Born on February 16, 1952 in Troy, son of the late Clark Robert and Joyce Madelyn (Fulner) Greinert. He is the husband of Jacquelyn (Hemmings) Greinert.
Sandy owned and operated Sandy Acres Farm and had been a farmer all his life. A past Chief of the Schaghticoke Fire Department, Sandy was a member of both the Tobacco Roaders and Norseman Hot Rod Clubs.
Survivors in addition to his wife Jacquelyn include their children Candy Greinert of Grafton, Cindie (Bruce) Bussing and Christine Greinert both of Schaghticoke, grandchildren Bruce and Olivia Bussing, niece Brandy (Brett) Blanck and nephews Kyle Hemmings and his children Logan and Kylin and (late) Jason Hemmings and his children James, Ivan, Nathan and Quaid Hemmings, cousins Kyle (Leigh) Wagner and their children Joshalynn and Mitchell and Scott (Michele) Wagner, brother-in-laws Eric Hemmings and Rich Simmons as well as his lifelong friends David (Catherine) Lesson and Mike (Rita) Riordon.
Graveside services will be at 11am on Friday, July 26 at the Middle Grove Cemetery in the family plot. Arrangements by the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 173 Main Street, Schaghticoke.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 in honor of Sandy.
