Ruth M. Chesaro, 84, of Timothy Way, Mechanicville, N.Y., passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2010 in St. Marys Hospital, Troy, NY. She was born on June 17, 1926, in Hopewell Township, PA; a daughter of the late Henry & Wilna Troutman Theys. On November 24, 1949 she married Frank Ches Chesaro. He predeceased her in 1996. A registered nurse since 1946, she was an instructor at Allegheny Valley Hospital and served with the Visiting Nurses Association. She enjoyed reading, games, playing with her great grandson Lucas, and spending time with her family and friends, and pets. Survivors include her two daughters, Kimberly Cochran of Mechanicville. Pamela married to Doug Ford State College PA Four Grandchildren: Craig Cochran, who she raised, married to Georgia, Matthew, Lindsey and Ryan Ford, as well as her great grandson Lucas Cochran. Siblings Mrs. Lyle (Helen) Shumaker, Mrs. Charles (Elsie) Smith and Henry Theys Predeceased by her sister Alice Abbott, A memorial service will be held in Brackenridge, PA at the convenience of the family.
