Russell L. Gordon passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 16, 2025. He was 75.

Born on August 4, 1949 in Troy, son of the late Russell W. and Lola (Duchesne) Gordon.

He worked in the NYS Assembly in the print shop for over 20 years.

He is survived by his sister, Patricia (Patty) Bird and a brother Rick Gordon, two children, Jennifer Gordon Mason and Mike Gordon. Also survived by his grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, his good friend Paul McGauley and his beloved cat, George.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister Eunice Haney.

Visiting will be from 11:30 – 1:00pm on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 319 Park Ave., Mechanicville. Burial will be in the family plot in Hudson View Cemetery in the Spring.
