Stillwater, Saratoga County Rosemary Lake Kinisky of Hudson Avenue passed away at her home surrounded by family on Friday, September 8, 2017 after an extended illness. She was 84. Born on March 26, 1933 in Stillwater, daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Powers) Lake. She is the widow of the late Thomas Copper Kinisky who passed away on May 17, 2012. They celebrated 60 years of marriage in 2012. She is a graduate of Stillwater High School class of 1950. In 1993 she retired from the office of John Vinett, MD where she was employed as a medical assistant for 30 years. She is a life-time communicant of All Saints on the Hudson Church, formerly St. Peter the Apostle Church where she was very active with the Altar Society, Rosary Society, a choir member, religious education teacher and was on the Bingo Committee. She was also a member of the Stillwater Historical Society. Survivors include her daughter, Denys Kinisky of Stillwater, her son, Thomas (Mary Anne) Kinisky of Newtown Square, PA, beloved grandchildren, Stephen (Lindsey) Radloff of Burnt Hills, Sarah Kinisky of Lakewood, OH and Thomas TJ Kinisky of Chicago, IL, her brothers William Lake of Coconut Creek, FL and John (Grace) Lake of Melbourne, FL. Also survived by a dear niece Barbara Filardo and close friend Mary Moore, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was happiest when she was spending time with her family and friends whom she dearly loved each and every one of them. In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her siblings, Sister Rose Marita Lake, SA, Charles Lake, Harold Lake and Robert Lake. Relatives and friends may call on Monday, September 11, 2017 from 4-7:00pm at Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 729 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater. Funeral Mass will be conducted on Tuesday at 9:00am at All Saints on the Hudson Church, 895 Hudson Avenue Stillwater. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery, Stillwater.
