RoseMarie (Perretta) Ennello of Schuyler Ridge in Clifton Park passed away there on July 22 after a brief illness. Ro was born in Mechanicville in 1943 and lived there until moving to Schuyler Ridge in 2014. She was the daughter of the late Anthony Perretta and the late Anna Bagnoli Perretta and was predeceased by two newborn siblings. Ro graduated from Mechanicville High School in 1961, earned a certificate in Comptometry and worked at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She married John A. (J.A.) Ennello also of Mechanicville in 1963, and they were happily married 37 years until his passing in 2000. Together, they created a loving home and wonderful childhood for their three adopted children, Deanna, John Jr. and Dana, and were foster parents for a time.
Ro was a stay-at-home mom until returning to work as a Kindergarten aide in Mechanicville. She was happiest when cooking and baking for a house full of kids, relatives and friends, and carrying on the traditions of her Italian upbringing. She was a second mom to many of her childrens friends.
Ros greatest joy was being a grandmother to Danas children, David, Zachery and Austin Wrobel, and Deanna and John Butlers children, Avery and Elise. She was blessed with two great-granddaughters, Kylee and Alina Wrobel whom she adored. Ro was very close with her grandsons partners: Tia; Hailey and daughter Riley; and Shelby and daughter Paislee.
In addition to parents, siblings, and husband, Ro was predeceased by her son in 1985, and daughter Dana in 2021. Ro was sustained through many losses and challenges by her Catholic faith. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, niece, aunt, cousin and friend throughout her life. She was a friend and confidante to many staff and residents at Schuyler Ridge and often helped new residents in their transition there.
Ros family sincerely thanks her devoted relatives, friends and caregivers for their love and care over the years. Calling hours and a Funeral Mass will be held at All Saints on the Hudson - St. Peters Church, 895 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater.
