Schaghticoke, Rensselaer County Rose A. Christie Rose A. Christie of South Main Street passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at her residence following a brief illness. She was 88. Born on June 24, 1927 in Brooklyn, daughter of the late Arthur and Adeline (Darling) Galvin. Survivors include her daughter, Kathleen (Charles) Probst, a son, Daniel (Meghan) Lynch, her sister Edith Conroy, her grandchildren, Jason (Eileen) Lynch, Bryan (Erin) Mathys, Christine (Joseph) Foy, David Mathys, Meghan Lynch and Amy Lynch, her daughter in laws, Christine Vanginhoven, Catherine Coughlin and Nancy Dooley Lynch and lifelong friend Nancy Kantares. Also survived by 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husbands Harold Lynch and Kenneth Christie, a son Robert Lynch and her brother Arthur Galvin, Jr. A celebration of her life will be held from 1-4:00pm on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the American Legion Post #1644, 81 East Street, Mechanicville.
