Robert J. Simmons, Jr., of Stillwater Bridge Road, Schaghticoke, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at St. Marys Hospital, Troy. He was 59. Born in Niskayuna on June 12, 1952, son of the late Robert J. and Minnie A. (Plummer) Simmons, Sr. He is the husband of the former Joyce A. Horner. Bob was a Mechanic at the family business, Greenwich Farm Supply in earlier years. Survivors in addition to his wife Joyce A. Simmons include a daughter, Amy (David) Daigle of Melrose and a son, Robert J. Simmons III of Schaghticoke, his grandchildren, Samantha and Casey Daigle. Also survived by his siblings, Connie Brenenstuhl of Valley Falls, Carol Simmons of Hoosic Falls, Glen Simmons of NC, Harvey Simmons of Schaghticoke and Roy Simmons of Valley Falls as well as several nieces and nephews.
