Robert George Fischer of Stillwater, passed away on January 26, 2020. He was 64 years old. Born on May 12, 1955 in Albany, NY to Linda J. Van Wormer Fischer of Westmere, NY and the late George P. Fischer. Survivors in addition to his mother include his loving wife of 40 years, Susan J. Jurewicz Fischer of Stillwater, son Robert (Melissa) Fischer of Stillwater, daughter Kelly Fischer of Albany, brother Thomas Fischer of Albany, and sister Joanne (Stephen) Cadalso of Albany. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Bobs life will be held on Saturday, February 1st, 2020 from 10:00 am until Noon at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 729 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater, NY 12170. A family gathering to further continue celebrating his legacy will immediately follow.
