Schaghticoke, Washington County Robert W. (Brown) Darrow passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at the Albany Medical Center. He was 72. Born on August 22, 1943, son of the late Clayton and Clara (Thompson) Darrow. He is the husband of 53 years to Cynthia J. Adamson. Survivors in addition to his wife Cynthia Darrow include his five children, Mollie (Chris) Myers of Galway, Bobbie Jo (RJ) Jepson of Schaghticoke, David Darrow (Gary Knack) of Port Wentworth, GA, twin daughters Jennifer (Shawn) Mealey of Schaghticoke and Jacqueline (Charles) Dyer of Mechanicville. Bob loved and adored his 8 grandchildren and his great granddaughter. Bob is also survived by his brother James (Jane) Darrow of Easton and his sister Margaret (Rollie) Pouquette of Vermont and his sister in law Marjorie Midge Darrow. In addition to his parents Bob is predeceased by his siblings Clayton Red Darrow, Kenneth Darrow and Dorothy Welch. His hobbies included watching NASCAR, going to old car shows, traveling to Florida for the Strawberry Festival and family picnics. Relatives and friends may call from 1-3:00pm on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 173 Main Street, Schaghticoke.
