Robert Fuller Anderson of Roswell, Georgia, passed away on May 29, 2011 at his son's residence in Johnsonville following a brief illness. He was 85. Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on August 4, 1925, son of the late Alfred and Charlotte (Reed) Anderson. Upon graduating high school, Mr. Anderson enlisted in the Army Air Force. After his discharge, he attended Keystone College and then completed his bachelors Degree at the School of Forestry at Penn State University. His employment began at the Worthington Corp., now Turbodyne, in Wellsville as a marketing engineer. Bob was an active member of University Lodge #0230, F&AM, Fifth Rite, a member of the Wellsville Lions Club and the Shriners, and was treasurer for the Wellsville Boy Scouts of America. He was also a parishioner of the United Methodist Churches of Wellsville and Scranton, PA. Bob was an avid huntsman and bird dog trainer. Survivors include his children, Florence Louise Anderson Houston and husband Wade of Burke, VA; Charlotte A. Loeffler and husband Edward of Cheektowaga, NY; Mary A. Huang and husband Chien K. of Pasadena, CA; Robert F. Anderson, II and wife Alicia of Johnsonville and Christina A. Schrader of Pittsburgh, PA. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and one great-grandson. In addition to his parents, Mr. Anderson is predeceased by his former wife Florence Louise Rodgers and a brother, Alfred Anderson. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00am on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at the family plot in East Canaan Cemetery, South Canaan, PA.
