Schaghticoke Philip T. Dobert (Schaghticoke,NY), passed away on Saturday May 28th, 2022, at the age of 62, after a short but painful battle with cancer. He was fortunate enough to pass at home, surrounded by his daughters, grandchildren, and brother. He was born in Troy, NY on October 7th 1959, to his parents Charles B. Dobert and Lorayne A. Mangoine. He was a graduate from Tamarac Highschool. He then served in the United States Airforce, stationed at Dyess Airforce base in Abilene, TX. Which is where he met and married his wife Pamela Dobert (Andrews). They had four children, Tonya, Aaron, Lorraine and Kyle. He nicknamed them the "TALK of the town". He was an avid NASCAR fan, and cheered for the late Dale Earnhardt. He also enjoyed watching football, where he rooted for the Philadelphia Eagles. He was predeceased by his sons, Aaron and Kyle Dobert, father and mother, Charles B. Dobert and Lorayne A. Mangoine, and brother Chuck Dobert. He is survived by his daughters Tonya Dobert (Daniel VanDetta), Lorraine Dobert (Ryan Guynup), Grandchildren Brianna Amidon, Jackson Peat, Ryan Jr, Aubrey and Mason Guynup, brother Chris Dobert (Helen Rezey), half brother Jefferey(Barb) Dobert, and half sister Victoria VandeWal. Tonya and Lorraine would like to thank everyone at Albany Med, Dr. Joanne Porter, and Maria Guay, for all of their help and support during this very difficult time. There will be no services available to the public. He will be laid to rest privately, and buried with his sons.
