Obituary

Ignazio Philip DeMarco passed away on Friday, July 29, 2022. He was 92. Born on March 3, 1930 in Cambridge, son of the late Anthony and Rose (Scaglione) DeMarco. Husband of the late Yolanda A. DeMarco. Philip served in the Army during the Korean was and worked as a farmer and a livestock auctioneer in the Schaghticoke area. Survivors include his children, Dr. Kristine DeMarco of Fairfield, CT, Kolleen DeMarco of Buskirk, Kirk DeMarco of Mt. Pleasant, TN and Kevin (Victoria) DeMarco of Brewerton, his grandchildren, Brandy Potter and Antonia, Jessica, Kimberly, Jennifer and Thomas DeMarco as well as his siblings Frances DeMarco and Charles DeMarco, Sr. Predeceased by his son, Keith DeMarco and his grandson Christopher Chapman-DeMarco. Visitation will be from 8:30am-10:00am on Friday, August 5, 2022 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 173 Main Street Schaghticoke with a funeral service to follow at 10:00am.
