Paul W. Houck, 69, of Master Street in Johnsonville died Thursday, Sept 9th at his residence surrounded by his loving family following a lengthy illness. Born September 6th 1941 in Oneonta, NY to Emory D. & Nellie Mae Burns Houck. Husband of JoAnn Reed whom he married May 19th 2001. A veteran of the USMC serving from 1958 to 1962. Paul, was the owner of Paul Houck Plumbing & Heating of Johnsonville. Survivors in addition to his wife JoAnn includes four sons; Jeremy (Cameo Ray) Houck of Johnsonville, Jeremy (Melissa Palma) Reed of Troy, Curtis Neil and James Houck both of Johnsonville. One daughter; Tauni (Simon) Daub of East Greenbush. Siblings; Donald Underwood of Schenevus, NY and Paulette Houck of Oneonta, NY. Predeceased by siblings Daniel, Mert, Dick, Lee, Bob Houck and Catherine McAdams. Also survived by two granddaughters Amanda & Lauren Richards and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Friday September 17, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville with Pastor Clyde McCaskill officiating.
