Valley Falls, Rensselaer County Patrick E. Bruce of Geary Road passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023. He was 25. Born in Columbus, Ohio on May 3, 1998, son of Patricia Sofranko and Terry Bruce. Patrick worked as a Supply Chain Associate for St. Peters Health Partners in Albany. He enjoyed building and repairing custom computers and was an avid gamer. Patrick was deeply interested in Japanese culture and learned much about it. He also enjoyed fishing and astronomy. Survivors include his mother and stepfather Patricia and Joseph Sofranko of Valley Falls, his father Terry Bruce of Columbus, Ohio, his brother Alexander (Samantha) Williams and their son Maverick of Cleveland, Ohio, his grandparents, Daniel (Joann) Sofranko of Melrose and Elizabeth (Frank) Ricupero of Conway, South Carolina. He will be remembered by his several local loving friends and other family members. Relatives and friends may call from 5-7:00pm on Wednesday, September 6,2023 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 173 Main Street, Schaghticoke.
