Johnsonville, Rensselaer County Patricia Ann Speanburg of Master Street passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy with her family at her side. She was 82. Born in Pittstown on August 18, 1940 daughter of the late Cornelius and Margaret (Oliver) Ryan, and for many years the wife of George D. Speanburg. Patty was retired from Albany ARC where she was the transportation coordinator. In her earlier years she worked for her lifelong friends at Lohnes Insurance Group. She was a very active person and enjoyed skiing, tennis, shopping and traveling, both local and abroad. She especially enjoyed her time at camp on Hadlock Pond and Hampton Beach. She will be missed by all. Survivors include her daughters, Stacey(Randy) Philpott, Nicole(Richard) Peterson and Courtney(Todd) Peterson all of Johnsonville, her adoring grandchildren Marlee and Jenna Peterson, her cousin Mimi(Jim) Capron of Esperance, Sister-in-law Evelyn Ryan of Valley Falls and many friends that have become family over the years. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings Frank Ryan, William Ryan, John Ryan and Joan Madigan as well as her beloved granddaughter Brittany Philpott.
