Batchelder, Patricia Ann - Mechanicville, Saratoga County Patricia Ann Batchelder of Route 67 passed away at her residence on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012 with her loving family by her side. She was 72. Born in Troy on April 11, 1940, Daughter of Joseph and Josephine (Friello) Sabatino. Mrs. Batchelder was employed as a school bus driver for the Stillwater School District. She was a member of the Cossayuna Lake Red Hat Society and loved playing bingo at the old Peter Purcell Post and the Mechanicville Elks Club. She also enjoyed shopping and spending time on the pontoon boat with her family and being at Cossayuna Lake. She is survived by her husband Fred Batchelder, whom she married in 1958 as well as their children, Josephine Batchelder of Mechanicville, Madeline (Brian) Daigle of Schaghticoke, Mason Batchelder (Sheila McBride) of Halfmoon and Patrick (Sheila) Batchelder of Corinth. Also survived by a brother, Philip "Philly" Sabatino of Stillwater and three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call from 10-1pm on Thursday Jan. 3 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 319 Park Avenue, Mechanicville.
