Norma J. Baker, age 86 passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bennington, VT on October 13, 1924 to the late Archibald and Julia Jones ODell. Norma was predeceased by her loving husband Charles Baker who passed away in 1973. She was a member of the Stillwater United Church where she was a former Deacon. At the church she was an active member of the quilting club and the food pantry. She was also a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Post 490 in Stillwater. Norma retired from the Standard Manufacturing Company in Troy. Survivors include two daughters: Julia and her husband George Costello of Malta; Carol and her husband Thomas McKnight of Malta and one son Howard Malm of Stillwater. Two Step-Daughters: Margaret (Peggy) Mehok of Schuylerville, Marge and her husband Richard Goverski of Stillwater and one Sister-In-Law, Sherrie ODell of Florida. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 25 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great-Grandson, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Norma was predeceased by her two brothers: Robert and Howard ODell. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM at the Dunn Funeral Home, 729 (formerly 121) Hudson Avenue in Stillwater. A funeral service will take place at 10 AM on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the Stillwater United Church, 747 Hudson Avenue in Stillwater with the Reverend Doctor Charles Woodman officiating.
