Natalie E. Minick, of Strides Drive in Malta passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 with her loving family by her side, she was 85 years old.
Born on May 31, 1931 on Crow Hill to the late Robert Murray and Sophie (Raymond) Murray Pendell. Wife of the late James P. Minick.
A graduate of Stillwater Central Schools, Natalie worked as a nanny, a candy striper, a housekeeper and a bartender. She enjoyed cooking, baking, hunting and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was especially fond of horses and anything to do with them.
Survivors include her children, James Minick of Mechanicville, Jane Catricala of Watervliet, Gregg (Bonnie) Minick of Stillwater, Carol (Vincent) Krasuski of Mechanicville and Scott (Debbie Hitchcock) Minick of Haymarket, VA. Her siblings, Martha Myers, Marjorie Aldrich and Beverly Bussiere, Daughter-in-law Sharon Minick of Mechanicville, 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Natalie was predeceased by her son Jeffrey Minick, a brother, Robert Murray and her sister Barbara Thompson.
The family would like to thank the staff at Albany Medical Center for all their help and care, especially the staff in the SICU. A special thank you to Bev and Judy, Mom's "my girls" for your love and devotion.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 pm on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 319 Park Avenue in Mechanicville.
A funeral service will follow at 7 pm.
