Nancy J. Villano, age 76, of Stillwater passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving and devoted husband and family on Friday, April 8, 2011. Nancy was born on January 27, 1935 in Watervliet to the late Charles and Eva (Grienier) Lamkins. She was a graduate of Albany High School, class of 1953. In addition to her parents, Nancy is predeceased by her brother Burnham Lamkins, two sisters, June Snortland and Patricia Sgarlata. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Patsy Villano, her five children, Pam Villano, Paul (Patty) Villano, Charles (Rosie) Villano, Eva (Erik) Mueller and Tony Villano, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. For 21 years Nancy traveled extensively with her husband and family while her husband was in the Air Force. Her career as a ceramic teacher kept her busy through the many years. She enjoyed other crafts, dancing, gardening, camping, shopping and being with her friends and family. Relatives and friends may call from 5-7pm on Monday, April 11, 2011 at the Dunn Funeral Homes, Inc., 729 (Formerly 121) Hudson Avenue, Stillwater. Funeral services will be at 10:30am on Tuesday at the funeral home with Fr. David Mickiewicz officiating. Burial will be in the Gerald B. H. Solomon, Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
