Stillwater, Saratoga County Michael James Bolton of County Route 70, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 13, 2022 with his loving family at his side. He was 70. Born on September 13, 1951 in Troy, son of the late George "Bud" and Sue (Skutniski) Bolton. He is the husband of Linda Marie (Monahan) Bolton who he married on July 30, 1988. Mike retired from Bobrick Equipment Inc. of Clifton Park. He was a parishioner of All Saints on the Hudson Church. Mike enjoyed working on cars, especially his 1958 Chevy Impala SS, fishing and living life to the fullest. He was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and the New York Yankees. Above all, he cherished the time spent with the love of his life Linda, his family and his beloved dog, Doc. Survivors in addition to his wife Linda include his children, William (Courtney) Bolton of Stillwater, Kelli (Charles) Hoertkorn of Queensbury and Andrew Bolton of Stillwater, his grandchildren, Camden, Rylee, Corey Bolton and Brayden Hoertkorn. Also survived by his siblings George (Linda) Bolton of Stillwater, Susan (Anthony) Stalioraitis of Stillwater, Joseph (Charlene) Bolton of Malta and Ann Marie (William) Carpenter of Stillwater and his nieces and nephews, Wendy, Linda, Christine, Beverly, Candy, Tamera, Kimberly, Mallorey, William, Sally, Randy, Chuck, Lisa and Laura. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister Barbara Russom. Relatives and friends may call from 4:00pm-7:00pm on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 729 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday at 12:00 noon at All Saints on the Hudson Church, Stillwater with burial in St. Peters Cemetery, Stillwater.
