Mechanicville - Saratoga County Mary C. "Babe" Forino of 8th Avenue passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at the Samaritan Hospital with her loving family at her side. She was 80. Born on August 2, 1934 in Mechanicville, daughter of the late Paul and Mary (O'Keefe) Taglione and her step father John Taglione. She is the wife of the late Anthony J. Forino. Mary was a devoted mother and always put her family's needs first. Survivors include her son John (Donna) Forino and grandchildren Danielle and John Jr., of Mechanicville, her daughter Diane M. (Jay Vredenburg) Forino of St. Johnsville, her life-long best friend, Lilly LeVasseur of Mechanicville, her aunt Ann Mickalonis and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her beloved daughter Judy Forino Fantauzzi and her sister Margaret "Peggy" Peluso. Relatives and friends may call from 4-7pm on Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 319 Park Avenue, Mechanicville. Funeral Mass will be conducted on Tuesday at 11am at All Saints on the Hudson, South Church, 121 North Main Street, Mechanicville. Burial will be in the family plot in St. Paul's Cemetery, Mechanicville.
