Mary Ruth Cox (September 30, 1942-November 28, 2021) Arlington Texas, Mary Ruth Cox, 79. Passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, November 28, 2021. She was born on September 30, 1942 in Concord, North Carolina. Daughter of Thomas Edward Brown and Helen Lucille Walker Brown. She was married to Franklin Christian Cox in Hopkinsville, Kentucky for 48 years until his passing on September 15, 2006. Ruth resided in Schaghticoke, NY for most of her life. She was employed by Wiley Bros. for many years. Ruth enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting and gardening. Surviving are her 2 sons, Barry (Debbie) Cox of Troy and David Cox of Vevay Indiana, two daughters, Laura (Donnie) Davenport of Gray Court, SC., Tina (Kenny) Vanderhoef of Averill Park. She is predeceased by a son, Terry Allen Cox , a daughter, Sheila Diane Cox, a daughter in-law, Debra Cox and a grandson Brian Cox. She is survived by a sister, Nancy (Gene) Wilks of Gray Court, SC, and 2 brothers, Dean (Elaine) Brown of SC, Dale Brown of SC. She is predeceased by 2 sisters, Bonnie Turner, Brenda Johnson and 2 brothers, Jim Brown, Harold (Bub) Brown. She is survived by 9 Grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
