Mary S. Chapman of Bracken Road passed away peacefully on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Evergreen Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation in East Greenbush with her daughter at her side. She was 77. Born on June 10, 1940 in Middlebury, Vermont, daughter of the late George H. and Helen (Baldwin) Sears. Mary worked most recently as a monitor at the Hoosic Valley Central School System. She is a member of the Hoosic Valley Community Church. She is survived by her son, John T. (Diane) Chapman of Ithaca, her daughter Dana L. Masters of Schaghticoke, a brother, Thomas (Carmen) Sears of FL, her partner of 35 years, James Keels, her grandsons Steven J. Masters and Dominick G. A. Masters. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call from 1-3:00pm on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Hoosic Valley Community Church, 2024 Route 40, Schaghticoke. A memorial service will follow in the church at 3:00pm.
