Martin A. Harrington of Dutch Meadows Lane passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. He was 69 years old.

Born in Bennington, Vermont on February 3, 1957, he was the son of the late Arnold James Harrington and Gwendolyn Audrey (Sawtelle) Waldron. He was also predeceased by his beloved aunt and uncle, Stella "Dot" and Donn Brownell, who held a special place in his life.

Marty earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwood University in Midland, Michigan, where he was also a proud member of the Delta Kappa Phi Fraternity. He built a long career in the automotive industry and worked as a warranty administrator at New Country Toyota in Mechanicville.

Marty will be lovingly remembered by his children, Justin Harrington, Melissa (Joel) Butchino, and Sarah (Shannon Burnell) Harrington. He is also survived by his siblings, Michael (Jamy) Harrington, Keith (Wendy) Harrington, Guy (Robin) Waldron, and Dawn (Timothy) Houle. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Logan Butchino and Alexis Butchino, who brought him great joy.

Marty was known for speaking his mind, his sharp wit, and a colorful sense of humor that those closest to him understood well. Beneath his strong personality was a man who cared deeply for his family and those he loved.

He also had a special love for traveling to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, where he enjoyed spending time by the ocean.

Services for Martin will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
