Stillwater Interment services for Mark Edward Gannon, who passed away on February 14, 2011, will be held at 2pm on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at the family plot in St. Peters Cemetery, North Hudson Avenue, Stillwater. For obituary information, please visit www.dunnfuneralhomes.com Saratoga County Stillwater Mark Edward Gannon, of Lake Street passed away on Monday, February 14, 2011 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peters in Albany. He was 54. Born on September 30, 1956 in Lafayette, Indiana, he was a son of Eileen Gannon (Armstrong) and the late Martin Edward Gannon. Mark graduated from West Milford High School in New Jersey in 1974. He went on to attend the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and became a practicing pharmacist in Massachusetts. He later moved to Stillwater and worked as a NY State health inspector before joining Latham Plastics in Latham, NY. Mark was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed camping and fishing. He was the type of person that could be perfectly happy riding his motorcycle through the Adirondacks. His friends and family will remember Mark for his easy going attitude and wicked sense of humor. Survivors in addition to his mother Eileen include his brothers, Michael and wife Elizabeth of Lenora, KS, Timothy and wife Lynnette of Johnsonville and a sister, Bonnie Gannon and husband Howard Haswell of Pleasant Hill, CA., a niece, Rebecca Gegg of Wichita, KS, and his nephews Ian Haswell of Pleasant Hill, CA, Kevin, Connor and Ryan Gannon all of Johnsonville. Funeral Services will be at 10am in the funeral home on Thursday, February 17, 2011 with burial at a later date in St. Peters Cemetery, Stillwater.
