Latham, New York Marilyn J. Heller, a resident of Latham and formerly Clifton Park, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 under the care of Community Hospice at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center, Guilderland. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Christine Bucci of Castleton, NY. Marilyn celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary in November 2010, and is survived by her loving husband and soulmate, Paul A. Heller. She is survived by her loving children: daughters Marianne (Robert) Brownell of Delmar, Laura (Gerald) Wander of Slingerlands, Lisa Heller Engle of Catskill; and sons Mark of Delmar, Scott (Joanne) of Clifton Park, Eric (Jennifer) of Colonie, and Dennis (Julie) of Schenectady, as well as her 15 cherished grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Marilyn is also survived by her sister Gloria Swartz of Clifton Park, Frank Huck Bucci of Castleton, Robert (Sharon) Bucci of Clifton Park, Donald (Patricia) Bucci of North Greenbush; several nieces and nephews; and her very dear friends Kitty Ford and Augie Almella of Mechanicville. The family wishes to thank the staff of Our Lady of Mercy Life Center and the Community Hospice of Albany for their exceptional care, compassion, and support. A private family celebration of Marilyns life will be held on Sunday, August 21st at the home of her daughter, Laura. There will be no calling hours.
