Maria "Mary" Malm passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024, after a short illness. She was 100 years old.

Born in Troy on February 14, 1924, daughter of Patsy and Mary (Sasco) Dourio. She is the wife of the late Arthur Earl "Fuzzy Malm".

Maria "Mary" graduated high school then went on to marry and have and raise two sons. She is survived by both John A. Malm and William E. Malm and their wives Laurie and Lisa.

Maria "Mary" also worked in the family business alongside her husband at "Malm Fuel Company".

Maria "Mary" enjoyed being outside in the spring and summer working on her yard and still insisted on riding and mowing her property until only a short time ago. She also enjoyed decorating for the holidays. She also enjoyed puzzles, crafts and word find books.

Maria "Mary" is also survived by five grandsons, Jon W. (Britton) Malm, Jason S. (Maria) Malm, Greg J. (Stephanie) Malm, Eric J. (Amy) Malm and Joe (Michele) Baker, three great grandchildren, Jamison, Bristol and Rhys.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Dominick Daurio, John J. Daurio, Grace A. Bruno, Patsy Daurio and Pete Daurio.

"At her request" graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, April 15, 2024 in the family plot in Elmwood Cemetery in Schaghticoke.
