Johnsonville, Rensselaer County Maria Giuseppina (Falco) Eagle of Route 67, formerly of South Troy, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Teresian House in Albany. She was 79. Born in Bisaccia, Italy on October 20, 1936, daughter of the late Giuseppe and Angela (Cela) Falco. She is the widow of Frank T. Eagle who passed away in 1994. Maria worked as a seamstress for the Amore Tailors in Albany. Survivors include her daughter, Maria Malm and son-in-law Jason Malm of Johnsonville, her nephews Joseph Falco and Michael Falco and her niece Angela Falco. Relatives and friends may call from 4-7:00pm on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 173 Main Street, Schaghticoke. Funeral service will be conducted at 10:00am on Friday, March 25, 2016 at the Valley Falls United Methodist Church, 16 State Street, Valley Falls. Burial will be in St. Josephs Cemetery in Troy next to her husband, Frank. There will be a gathering following the interment at 4:00pm at the Johnsonville Firehouse, 5 River Road, Johnsonville.
