Margaret "Peg" Funking passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on Friday, June 7, 2024. She was 71.

Born in New York City on March 27, 1953, daughter of the late Stanley and Mary "Tena" (Mitchell) Funking.

Peg retired from Coburg Village Independent Living where she was a receptionist.

Survivors include her nephew, Matthew Kupiec of Halfmoon, her brother Stanley Funking of Albany, her uncle Robert Funking and aunts Betty King and Dorothy Mitchell. Also survived by numerous cousins and close friends.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law Elaine and George Kupiec.

Visiting will be on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 10-11:00am at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 173 Main Street, Schaghticoke. A prayer service will be held at 11am in the funeral home with inurnment to follow in St. John's Cemetery, Schaghticoke.
