Johnsonville, Rensselaer County Louise Alice Paulo of River Road passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, August 12, 2019. She was 67. Born in Troy on January 29, 1952, daughter of the late Vernon and Edna (Fort) Baucus. She is the wife of Randy Paulo whom she married on February 1, 1968. She worked in advertising at the Troy Record for 27 years and was a past member of the Johnsonville Rescue Squad. Louise enjoyed camping in the Adirondacks, kayaking and being outdoors. She enjoyed being with her family and her canine companion, Halley. Survivors in addition to her husband Randy include her daughter, Mary Ann (Christian) Carangelo of Binghamton, her sister Marjorie Ann (Eugene) Foster of Johnsonville, grandchildren Richard L. Hynes of Johnsonville, Connor Carangelo and Caden Carangelo both of Binghamton, her father and mother in law Joseph "Red" and Barbara Paulo of Johnsonville as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and brothers and sister in law. Relatives and friends may call from 4-6:00pm on Friday, August 16, 2019 at the Presbyterian United Church, 165 Main Street, Schaghticoke. A memorial service will follow at 6:00pm in the church with Pastor Lynn Hardy, officiating.
