Stillwater, Saratoga County Linda L. Sanders of County Route 76 passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Saratoga Hospital. She was 79. Born in Troy on December 16, 1941, daughter of the late William and Hazel (Bull) Sanders. Linda worked for the former Leonard Hospital in Troy as a lab technician. She was a longtime member of the Stillwater United Church. She was a member of the Upton Chapter, 679 and was well known as the longtime historian for the Town and Village of Stillwater. She was a member of the State Historical Society. Survivors include her sister, Priscilla (Tom) Walsh and several nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews and many close friends. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister Ellen Gadoua. Relatives and friends may call from 4:00-6:00pm on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 729 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater. A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home at 10:00am on Monday with Rev. Pamela Woodman, officiating. Burial will be in the family plot in Hudson View Cemetery, Mechanicville.
