Stillwater Linda Sue Celeone of Stillwater, more recently of Saratoga Springs passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018. She was 76. Born in Troy on March 6, 1941, daughter of the late Leonard and Annetta (Cowin) Kellogg. She is the widow of Joeseph Celeone who passed away in 1981. An active member of the Stillwater United Church where she served as an Elder and was a choir member for over 30 years. She started her career in Albertson, NY as a School Nurse Teacher and also worked at Samaritan Hospital as a nurse. Linda was the Director of Nursing at Saratoga Warren Boces and most recently the Heath Administrator for Oswego County Opportunity which she was instrumental in founding. Survivors include her son, Vince L. Gallagher of Ballston Lake, her siblings, Janice (William) Ritter of Stillwater, Susan (Thomas) Lee of SC and Leonard (Edie) Kellogg of Stillwater as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call from 4-7:00pm on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Stillwater United Church, 747 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater. Funeral service will be conducted in the church at 12 noon on Saturday, February 3. Burial will follow in Stillwater Union Cemetery.
