Lansingburgh, Rensselaer County Lauretta "Laurie" B. Van Tine passed away suddenly on Monday, January 17, 2022, at Barnwell Nursing and Rehabilitation in Valatie. She was 63. Born in Rhinebeck NY, on April 6, 1958, daughter of the late Robert and Elaine (Saulpaugh) Bentien. Laurie is the wife of Kenneth J. Van Tine. Laurie graduated from Columbia High School in 1976. She worked in management for various retail companies throughout her life. Laurie enjoyed crafting, sewing and going to craft fairs with her "Executive Burp Cloths" and "Bookworms". One of Laurie's great pleasures was RV camping, from family vacations to Winter getaways (especially Disney World) and Summers spent at their seasonal site. Laurie was also an avid NASCAR fan. Survivors along with her husband, Ken include her daughter Krystal (James) LaBombard of Florida, her sister Pamela Bentien of Troy, her mother-in-law Elizabeth Van Tine, and her beloved dog Mindy.
