Kyle T. Dobert, 20, of Mechanicville died on Friday, July 22, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Troy on May 27, 1991 to proud parents Philip T. & Pamela J. (Andrews) Dobert.
He was an avid fisherman with a cheezy smile in many pictures of him with his catch, but his biggest catch was his girlfriend Alisha Schoonmaker. Together they rescued their most prized possession and second love, their dog Gucci. He also liked to play basketball, swim, ride bikes, skateboard and play the guitar. Kyle has been employed at Roberts Landscaping in Menands for several years and he loved working outside. Roberts has employed several family members and friends, and for that the parents would like to thank them.
In addition to his parents, Kyle is survived by his sisters, Tonya L. Dobert (Jim Peat) of Silver Point, TN and Lorraine A. Dobert (Ryan Guynup) of Lansingburgh, his nieces, Brianna Amidon and Aubrey Guynup and his nephews Jackson Peat and Ryan Guynup Jr., also many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. He is predeceased by his brother Aaron S. Dobert, paternal grandparents, Charles B. and Lorayne Mangione Dobert and his maternal grandparents, David K. Andrews and Nancy Berger Graham. He is also predeceased by his uncle, Chuck Dobert, and several friends.
Calling hours will be on Friday, July 29 from 10-2 at the Hoosic Valley Community Church on Route 40 in Schaghticoke with a service to be conducted immediately after with Pastor Clyde McCaskill presiding.
