Stillwater, Saratoga County Kimberly J. Rist of Stillwater passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. She was 44. Born on September 25, 1973, daughter of Marlyn Dunlap Couture and the late Robert Ronald Couture. She is the wife of Martin William Rist, Jr. Kim was an active parishioner of the Stillwater United Church. She enjoyed working out at the YMCA and spending time with her family and canine companions Otis and Carmello. Above all she loved watching her daughter take horseback riding lessons and cheerleading. Survivors in addition to her husband Martin and her mother, Marlyn (Carl Graves) include her beloved daughter, Adrienne Rose Rist, stepchildren Michael, Nicole and Marie Rist, her sister, Denise and brother in law John Zieske, a niece, Renee Zieske and a nephew Derek Zieske. Relatives and friends may call from 4:00-7:00pm on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 319 Park Avenue, Mechanicville. Funeral service will be conducted at 10am on Thursday at the Stillwater United Church, 747 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater.
