Kathy Lou (Smith) Hurd, born Kathy Lou Wright. She was the daughter of Nick & Viola Wright of LaGrangeville, NY. Passed away on Monday, August 5th, 2024 at the age of 72.

Kathy enjoyed crafting, quilting, traveling, and playing cards with her friends. She also loved camping with her late Husband Butch Hurd.

Kathy was survived by her 1st husband Richard L. Smith, her sons Keith (Regina) Smith of WV, Jared Smith of Stillwater NY, and her grandchildren Alyssia (Sean) Rodriguez, Chianne Smith, Katelynn Smith, Tristen Smith, and Alivia Smith. And her Great Grandson Quinn Rotolo.

She was predeceased by her late husband Butch Hurd, her eldest son Ronnie L. Smith, and her parents.

Her services will be held at Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 729 Hudson Ave., Stillwater, NY 12170 on Saturday, August 10th, with visiting from 10-12 PM with a service at 12.

She is loved and will be missed dearly.
