Stillwater, Saratoga County June Theresa Baker- A compassionate and beautiful woman has joined the love of her life (Howard) on December 30, 2021. June's life was richly blessed with64 years of marriage to her loving husband, and many special and fond moments with her large extended family. June was born June 1, 1933 in the Bronx and subsequently moved to Stillwater. She was a graduate of Stillwater High School. Junes fulltime and endless commitment was raising her family. June was an avid reader, impeccable homemaker, a great cook and enjoyed gardening. She loved everything about family. Junes first job was as a secretary with D.A. Collins, as their first office employee. She also worked for Joy Department store, Curtain Country and BOCES. June is survived by children James (Rose) of Albany, John Terrance (Melissa) of Lake Worth, FL, Lauren Bagby (Brian) of Bolton MA, Pamela Lonergan of Baldwinsville, NY, Lisa Mason (Brian) of Waterford, Joel (Sharon) of Raymond, NH, Bonita Baker of Stillwater, and Patrick (Tracy) of Stillwater. June was the proud Grandma, and Gram to 17 grandchildren: Cara, Jess, Zachary, Jamie, Aaryn, Meghan, Courtney, Mathew, Caitlin, Kelly, Evan, Sammantha, Kevin, Shawn & Seth, Hannah & Georgia, and 9 great-grandchildren, Chase, Colin, Brayden, Mia, Declan, Leo, Noah, Lennon and Kiernan. June is also survived by her brother Joseph McDermott (Laura). Relatives and friends may call from 9-10:30am on Monday, January 3, 2022 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 729 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater. Funeral Mass will follow at All Saints on the Hudson Church (St. Peters Church) at 11:00am. Burial will take place at St. Peter's Cemetery in Stillwater.
