Raymertown Judith Hansen of Ford Road passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at her home. She was 81. Born in Schaghticoke on October 30, 1936, daughter of the late Robert L. and Marion (Weir) Hansen. She is the widow of Raymond George Hansen. Mrs. Hansen worked as a cardiology and neurology technician at Samaritan Hospital in Troy for over 50 years. In earlier years she and her husband Raymond were members of the Grafton Trail Riders. Judy enjoyed gardening, house plants, feeding the birds, skiing, traveling, hiking, camping with their horses in tow, movies, and eating out to dinner. She loved attending her children and grandchildrens sporting events. Judy also played for the Samaritans womens softball team, volunteered for the Community Hospice and worked at the election polling site in the town of Pittstown. She is survived by her children, Steven (Shirley) Hansen of Melrose, Cristi Hansen (Charles Loggie), Troy Douglas (Marybelle) Hansen of Melrose and Karen (Kevin) Hickey, East Schodack, her siblings, Chris (Pam) Hansen, Neil (Nancy) Hansen and sister in law Gloria Wynne. Also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Joshua, Andrew, Ryan, Christopher (Emily), Shelby, Colin, Raymond, Taylor, Aiden and her great grandson Jack, a nephew Gregory Hansen and late in life friend, Roger Cole. She is predeceased by her brother David Hansen. Relatives and friends may call from 4-7pm on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 173 Main Street, Schaghticoke.
