Joyce L. Peterson, formerly of the Albany County Nursing Home, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Albany Memorial Hospital. She was 68. She was born on January 6, 1943 in Troy, twin sister of June Peterson who passed away in 2006. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Genevieve (Lilac) Peterson. She is survived by her brother Richard and wife Arlene Peterson of Atascadero, CA. In addition to her parents and twin sister, she is predeceased by her older sister Linda Baxell. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9am on Friday, August 5, 2011 at the All Saints Church, North (Formerly St. Peters Church), Hudson Avenue, Stillwater with Rev. David Mickiewicz, officiating.
