Joseph F. Tobin, III, son of Joseph F. Tobin, Jr. and Barbara A. Tobin of Troy, passed in June of this year. He was interred in Oakwood Cemetery in Troy.

Joseph is survived by his brothers Lawrence M. Tobin of Stevensville, MI, and John P. Tobin of Manitowoc, WI, and sisters Jean M. Tobin of Troy, NY and Linda Bass of Little River, SC. Another sister, Barbara A. Martell, passed in 2002. He also had nieces Kiana Martell of Troy, Jeni Tobin of Cohoes, Chelsea Tobin of Stevensville, MI and Sarah Tobin of Sacramento, CA. His nephews include Lawrence Tobin, II of Woodbridge, VA and Frederick Tobin of Troy, NY.

He was a lifelong resident of the Capital District, most recently in Melrose, NY. Joseph graduated from Troy High School in 1974 and was employed as a trucking dispatcher for a major company before retiring in 2015. He was an avid antique collector, carpenter and gardener.
